Hamamatsu Synth Trip Guide

Hamamatsu is home to many musical instrument companies such as Yamaha, Roland, Suzuki, and Kawai.

Although you cannot visit these all companies directly, you can experience their culture.

Access

You can use the Shinkansen to access Hamamatsu.

Basically, it is recommended to stay in Tokyo or Osaka, but I think spending a day in Hamamatsu is a great experience.

Near Station area

Musical Instrument Museum

A good place to start is the Musical Instrument Museum.

Especially recommended for those interested in ethnic instruments.

You can visit Yamaha musiam by transferring to Enshu Railway, commonly known as (AKA-DEN mean red-train).

Act Tower

The Act Tower is basically a hotel and business venue, but there is a restaurant area in the basement.

Kanzan-zi Area

The most recommended area in Hamamatsu is the Kanzanzi temple area.

It is a local area and requires a car for access, but it is best to ask the hotel for one.

Sightseeing is possible on foot from hotel.

Kanzanji temple

Tateyama-ji is a peninsula where nature remains and can be explored at will.

Some people explore by canoe.

Hamamatsu Pal Pal /  Hamanako Orgel Museum

Hamamatsu Pal Pal is a typical local amusement park in Japan.

It is basically a local amusement park of modest quality, but the roller coaster was purchased from the Expo, so it is worth a try.

The characters are designed by the artist of Anpanman, a character that has gained the enthusiastic support of Japanese children.

Orgel Museum

is a good spot for a panoramic view of Lake Hamana. It will be a good spot to enjoy as well as local (like us).
